About the Department of Marathi
NTRODUCTION
The U.G. Department of Marathi has been established in June 1993
with the inception of the college.
P.G. Department of Marathi has been established in 2010.
The Department has well qualified, experienced and research-
oriented staff. The teachers from the department are very keen
about developing the overall personality of the tribal students.
The main focus of the department is on increasing the
communicative competence and to enhance the ability of criticize
the literature. ICT based teaching learning facilities such as power
point presentation, Computers, Internet are available in the college
and are utilized for the students.
Apart from regular teaching learning activities, various
extracurricular activities are conducted for the students such as
Debating Competitions, Elocution Competitions, Essay Writing
Competitions and Poetry Reading Competitions.
Remedial coaching classes are conducted for the academically
weak students.
The Department has organized State & National Level Seminars,
Workshops..
The Department is engaged in providing Career Guidance
through its services to the students by organizing workshops on
NET/SET/UPSC/MPSC/SSC preparation, Lecture series
especially for the downtrodden student.
