The department of History was established in the June 1993 with the establishment of M.G.V Arts, Science and Commerce college of Harsul. History department has achieved academic stature over this period of 23 yrs. Since its establishment the perused the curriculum set by the Savitibai phule Pune University with vigor and
enthusiasm. Presently history has been taught at general level.
